Airport Security On The Lookout For Heavy Sweaters?

The last decade or so has definitely seen the ‘loss of innocence’ of airports worldwide. It seems that every other week there are some new security measures being put in place to help airport security staff in the enormous task of preventing criminal activities from taking place in our skies.
For the most part these measures have been technologically based, with new screening mechanisms being used to detect dangerous items.
But it is also important for security to use other methods for identifying potential problems which is why many airports are now investing in education for their security staff into the study of body language and other similar initiatives.
Having a good understanding of when a person is nervous can allow security staff to make better use of the technology they use when they pull individuals aside for a more thorough examination of their effects.
Excess sweating is one of the more obvious signs of stress and is something that security staff would be looking for as they attempt to identify potential problems.
Of course sufferers of hyperhidrosis will know that sweating is not the only cause of stress. So security staff are trained to use sweating as just one of many potential tell tale signs that could indicate a person is boarding the plane with mischief in mind.
